Answers to help you feel confident and excited about your wedding day

What is month-of wedding coordination, and how is it different from full-service planning?

Day-of” and “month-of” coordination are often used interchangeably in the wedding world, but let’s be honest: calling it day-of doesn't accurately reflect the depth of what a coordinator truly does.

At Something Blue Events, month-of coordination begins about 4–6 weeks before your wedding day. That gives us time to review your vendor contracts, create a detailed timeline, confirm logistics, and ensure every element of your plan is ready to shine. I communicate with vendors, run your rehearsal, and manage the entire day so you can stay present not problem-solving.

Full-service planning includes support from day one. Think vendor sourcing, budget tracking, design development, and everything in between. While I primarily focus on month-of coordination, I do take on a select number of full-planning clients each year (just three, to be exact!). This allows me to give those couples the same high-touch experience and care that Something Blue Events is known for without stretching myself too thin.

When should I book a wedding coordinator in Central Florida?

I recommend booking as early as 6–9 months in advance, especially if you're planning during peak wedding season or hosting your wedding at a popular Florida venue. This ensures you have priority access to planning sessions and our preferred vendor network.

What venues do you serve in Florida?

Something Blue Events specializes in weddings across Central Florida. Think historic estates, elegant barns, gardens, and lakeside venues. From Lakeland to Orlando to Tampa and beyond, I travel throughout the region to bring your vision to life.

Do you offer wedding design or styling services?

Yes! I offer an add-on package called “The Something Styled”, which includes mood board creation, color palette guidance, floral and décor suggestions, and assistance with rentals. It's perfect for couples who want cohesive and elevated visual storytelling.

What’s the difference between your planning packages?

I offer three heirloom-inspired coordination options:

  • The Keepsake – Planning opens 1 month before your wedding

  • The Heirloom – Planning opens 3 months before your wedding

  • The Signature Something – Planning opens 6 months before your wedding

  • The Heritage Plan - Full-Service planning that begins after you say “Yes!”

Each includes tailored planning sessions, vendor and rehearsal coordination, and full-day wedding management.

What is the investment for working with Something Blue Events?

Packages range from $1,250 to $2,350, depending on how early we begin planning and the level of coordination support you need. We also offer thoughtful design add-ons for couples who want help bringing their wedding vision to life.

For full-service wedding planning, pricing is customized based on your specific needs and when the planning journey begins. Since we take on a limited number of full-planning clients per year, this experience is carefully tailored and deeply collaborative.

I’m always happy to chat through your priorities and suggest a package that fits both your vision and your budget.

Do you coordinate destination weddings in Florida?

Yes! Many of my clients are planning Central Florida destination weddings from out of state. I provide virtual planning meetings, vendor recommendations, and a seamless coordination experience so your big day feels relaxed and unforgettable, even from afar.

I’m super organized—do I still need a coordinator?

Absolutely. Even the most detail-oriented planner deserves to truly enjoy their wedding day without juggling behind-the-scenes logistics. That’s where I come in.

I handle the timeline, vendors, and every moving piece so you can be the guest of honor, not the host. Your only job? To stay present, soak up the joy, and savor each moment stress-free.
