Hi, I'm Kista!

I'm a Certified Wedding Planner, Certified Timeline Genius through the CWP Society, proud U.S. Navy veteran, and event professional with more than 15 years of experience in events and marketing.

Weddings and events have always held a special place in my heart, though planning them wasn't my first career. For as long as I can remember, I've been the one at the center of family gatherings and celebrations, cooking, decorating, organizing, and making sure everyone felt welcomed, connected, and celebrated. Bringing people together has always brought me joy, and that passion naturally evolved into Something Blue Events.

My background in events, marketing, and patient care has given me the perfect combination of organization, creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Let's be honest, weddings can get a little chaotic when Aunt Susan decides she wants to rearrange the seating chart five minutes before guests arrive!
